Whisper of Balance

What if balance were a world in its own right?

I imagined Whisper of Balance as a small universe where everything seems to find its place, carried by the same movement. I let myself be swept away by this idea of fragile harmony, of different forces coexisting without ever remaining still.

There is something calm in this illustration, but also a sense of curiosity: what happens when something comes to meet this world? Does the balance break, or does it simply change shape?

I like to think that it is not fixed. That it builds and transforms itself over time, sometimes without us even noticing.

In print, Whisper of Balance reveals the full richness of its little universe. The carp, the bird, and their movements echo one another in a composition meant to be contemplated as a whole or discovered detail by detail.
