What if you could travel around the world without ever coming back down?
I conceived Moonlit Drifter while thinking of great adventure stories, of Around the World in Eighty Days and those travelers ready to follow a path no one had taken before.
The balloon gradually moves away from the known world and lets itself be carried between the clouds, eventually drifting around the moon. The journey then becomes more dreamlike, freed from the distances and paths we usually trace.
This illustration speaks of the desire to leave, to discover what lies further ahead, and to let imagination, for a moment, choose the destination.
