What if our world hung by a few threads?

I imagined Whisper of the Suspended Sea while thinking of Caspar David Friedrich’s Wanderer above the Sea of Fog, and that feeling of vertigo one experiences when facing an immense landscape whose limits and secrets remain indistinguishable.

I have blended in my taste for impossible journeys and dreamlike universes, somewhere between the explorations of Jules Verne and the cosmic mysteries of Lovecraft. The scale of this creature and the world it carries hint at an order that is entirely beyond us.

Suspended between the sky and the waves, the island seems as fragile as it is preserved. We do not know if the fish is guiding it, protecting it, or simply carrying it away to a destination no one knows.
