I imagined Moonlit Drifter while thinking of great adventure stories, Around the World in Eighty Days, and those travelers ready to follow a path no one had taken before.

The balloon gradually moves away from the known world and lets itself be carried between the clouds, until it drifts around the moon. The journey then becomes more dreamlike, freed from the distances and paths we usually trace.

With Moonlit Drifter, I wanted to recapture that simple pleasure of imagining that a journey can begin the moment you look up at the sky.

In its holographic version, Moonlit Drifter changes reflections with the light. The balloon, the clouds, and the moon then seem to continue their journey with the slightest movement.
